Souad, Thank you again!

Two weeks ago I was talking about Souad Massi, The algerian amazing singer.

People were attacking her and accusing her of betrayal since she announced she will perform in Tel-aviv.

Pre-judging people is a great hobby for most of the egyptian bloggers who likes to show-off and pretend to be well cultured and partiots!

So, do you think Souad went to Tel-aviv?

Let's read what the israeli producer Dudu Zarjevsky, the man who arranged for Souad's concert in Tel-aviv told "Haaretz" israeli newspaper during an interview.

Zarjevsky notes Algerian singer Souad Massi's concert, which was supposed
to take place last week as part of Tel Aviv's White Night festivities but was
canceled: "We already had a signed contract with Massi, who is a popular artist
in Israel and around the world, and I was itching to announce publicly that she
was on her way to Tel Aviv. At the last minute, she canceled because of pressure
from Arab countries." He says he experienced a similar incident in the late
1990s with Algerian singer Cheb Khaled. "Khaled received a large advance payment
from us but canceled his performance at the last minute for the same reasons,
just as we were about to begin the campaign," says Zarjevsky.

Souad Massi performed in Rammallah-Palestine a few days before Tel-aviv's concert, but she didn't and will never perform in Israel.

Didn't I mention that she respects her fans?

Souad Massi...Thank you again!
